Frank L. Garrett
Well, I have worked in construction all my life. I was born in 1958, so you can do the math and see I have been doing it for a while. I grew up in the trades in the wood flooring business, and after doing about 7 years working for another company, I started Frank’s Quality Wood Floors, Inc.
I had that company for 24 years before retiring from the wood floor business as the mainstay of what I do. Through many years of working with wood floors and in the construction industry, I was able to learn a number of other trades, such as interior trim and custom woodworking. I built 7 houses along the way from the ground up through the name of S & G Precision Builders with a partner, who has since passed on. For 3 ½ years, I was the Senior Project Manager for a company that does only remodels.
I would run up to 20 at a time and was able to schedule them out precisely. The main thing I learned through the years is attention to detail and the intense desire to do what I said I would do when I said I would do it and for the price, I said it would be. For the past few years, I have concentrated on interior trim and finish, including custom carpentry on doors and windows, fireplace mantels, staircase treads and risers, staircase railings and trim, and custom mirror frames.
I have a full shop at my disposal to create anything you can imagine in wood, be it interior trim or custom furniture, which is my hobby when I am not on the construction site.

You should also know that I go to great lengths to protect your home as I work in it. This includes the use of dust containment systems on the saws that do the cutting. You can count on seeing walkways of protective materials laid down to keep the mess off your floors.
I’ll hang plastic as necessary to isolate the work areas. I will clean the job site daily to keep the mess under control. There is no reason for you to have to live in sawdust for the duration of the job. I can even hire a professional cleaner to come in after the job is done to make it perfectly clean again.
